  • Available to Highland Park Public Library adult cardholders.

What are common topics?

  • Downloading and using digital library items (eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines).
  • Using the library catalog.
  • Email, browsing, and computer basics.
  • Organizing files and using cloud storage.
  • Photo, slide, and video digitization.

Is there help the library does not provide?

  • Medical, legal, financial, or business advice.
  • Personal transactions such as applications, contracts, purchases, or travel bookings.
  • Entering personal or sensitive information on your behalf.
  • Setting up or installing software on personal devices.

What can staff do instead?

  • Show you how to find reputable information sources.
  • Explain general steps and tools.
  • Guide you while you complete tasks on your own device.

How can I schedule an appointment?

  • Fill out the online form.
  • Share details about what you want to learn.
  • A staff member contacts you to set the session within 3 business days (Monday-Friday).

What if I need to cancel?
